Backups

The Backups screen shows backup age, recovery models and log reuse. Tiles count Databases, Healthy, Check and Overdue, and you can filter the table to any of those groups. For each database you see its recovery model, last full backup, age, last differential, last log backup and a status.

What you see on this screen

  Spot databases that were never backed upDatabases with no recorded full backup show “Never” and an Overdue status.

  Recovery model at a glanceFULL vs SIMPLE is shown next to each database, so a missing log backup means something.

  Connected to alertsBackup age reduces the server health score and triggers a Backup overdue alert.
