Alerts

DBPulse raises alerts automatically as it collects data from your servers, and the Alerts screen is where you work through them. Filter by Open, Acknowledged, Resolved or All. Each alert shows a severity (critical, warning or info), a category tag, a plain description with the actual numbers, the time it fired, and Acknowledge and Resolve buttons.

What you see on this screen

  Low page life expectancyA critical alert when PLE falls below 300 seconds, which indicates significant memory pressure.

  Backup overdueA warning when the last full backup of a database is older than the threshold (25 hours in the example shown).

  Index fragmentationAn informational alert when indexes exceed 30% fragmentation, with a nudge to run maintenance.
